“Quebus” was my gaming nickname for 25+ years. Looking back at the things I had the opportunity to do as a result of my involvement in online gaming communities, I am reminded how lucky I was to be a very small part of the “wild west” of online gaming. It was a special time to be an online gamer and my community involvement allowed me to learn quite a bit. Some of the hats I wore included:

• Game server admin, network administrator, web developer and linux hack
• Forum moderator at Planetquake.com, Planetunreal.com and Planetdoom.com.
• Server admin and organizer for PQ’s Friday Night Frag Fest
• Part-time server admin and “major domo” at the PHHortess.com and Quaddamage.net
• Co-founder and server admin at Absolutecarnage.com; and
• One of the remaining caretakers of PHHEAR PHHACTORY and the classic “Instamush” config
